Pre-emptive ‘This is the best episode of TNG’.

Absolutely my favorite episode of all Trek.

I guess I should go get some tissues now while there’s a lull. :frowning:

This may be heresy, I like this one… but it’s not my favorite.

:ducking:

gasp

He’s so mean to her. And she’s so accepting and loving.

Le sigh. :frowning:

Enter the flute…

This one time, at band camp… :stuck_out_tongue:

I love how he just lets his hair grow. I guess he only lets blue people cut his hair.

First time watching this, I had a bit of a crush on the Administrator. :o

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the actor in anything else since.

I found, and still find, the Administrator to be a bit stuck-up.

Kamin/Picard’s use of music is very similar to my own

You can’t take the Picard out of Kamin - star charting and exploring!

OMGs, Picard’s pregnant! :stuck_out_tongue:

Doesn’t this kind of announcement usually work the other way around?

Ha! I’m with you. I also like this episode a lot-- very well done and in my top 10. But not in my top 3.

For me, I’m turned on by episodes that are not only well done but also put forth a powerful idea or message.

“Measure of Man” and “Darmok” are therefore at the top of my list.

Inner Light is an interesting and compelling story, but it isn’t about anything significant (in my opinion). So, good story, but not a good Star Trek story.

By the way, I’m constantly amazed at how often you and I agree on things, Casilda. Our shared loved of Caprica, our shared “meh” of Avatar etc. Really kind of uncanny considering the 1000 differences between you and I.

Of course he is. He’s an Administrator, after all. :stuck_out_tongue:

 There’s a reason I generally listen to your opinion on things, lol

Kataan’s version of a Starfleet Admiral? :groucho:

The life with children bit is indeed a huge change for Picard… contrast this to his attitude towards Wesley Crusher at the start of the series
