This civilization is so peaceful. No one speaks of war. The communities seem to live in harmony. I think that’s why their tech is there but primitive. As much as I hate to admit it, war brings about massive change.
Just as Eline is only in this episode, and yet, her death makes me sob like a little girl.
Every.
Single.
Time.
“I’m not going anyway to watch anything.”
Yep. I am cranky Picard.
I will be playing on the ground with my grandchildren, as well. I hope.
It’s all so beautifully touching.
whimper I told myself I wasn’t gonna cry!
Getting back up is the hard part.
“Oh it’s me…”
Love the way Patrick plays that. He is amazing.
Picard sure aged well… he’s gotta be over 100 by the end of the episode…
Pass the hanky. sniff
His sense of loss is devastating!
It’s the dry heat. gigglesniff
So powerful.
And now I’m crying again.
The flute! sob
Wow. I think the ending is more powerful with additional viewings, and especially when you know what comes later…
I wish they had changed the ending credits for this episode and played the flute music.
So much for my allergies. I can always count on this episode to clear my sinuses.
