Okay before you and Badger go to bed, I’ve been meaning to mention this to you.

Got to the Star Trek Phase II site and download their newsletters.
They’ve got pdf comic books stories at the end of them—at least the last 3 do I know for sure.
And, Finnegan…yes Finnegan shows up as a MACO (Star Fleet Marines) Colonel assigned to the Enterprise.
Eh, I don’t know if the writing of the comics is A+, but it’s TOS Star Trek and that’s cool.

Oh! That would interesting.

In one of James Cawley’s editorials he said that they’re actually nicely on schedule with their upcoming Star Trek Phase II episodes.

As a result, what they might to is wait until September of this year and release four of their new episodes --one per week-- the idea being to give the “feel” of watching it as a weekly show.
That would be awesome.

I was just admiring how well written this is. I looked…Teleplay by RDM. Not surprised.

It’s a “Klingon” episode! I thought RDM wrote all of them

I love that he talks to Alexander. You think he’s going to ask him to kill him. RDM goes there!

Sigh, another reason I’m sad I missed this one. I love episodes that have Alexander in it. I believe I may have even cried the last time I watched this one… (I’m such a sap)

My sis had it in her Will that our parents would take custody of her kids if something happened to her and my bro-in-law.
But my parents are in their 70s.
So my sister decided it was time to change her will so that I would take care her kids (teenagers) if she and my bro-in-law died.

Heaven forbid it would even happen, but it was heavy moment her asking us—we were honored to agree of course.

When I turned 18 my parents asked if I would be willing to be responsible for my younger siblings if something were to happen to my parents (I said yes of course), it was definitely a wow-I-really-am-an-adult moment.

I’m pissed I couldn’t make it to trek frak this week!

This episode brings up so many deep discussions about life and morality and why the frak Worf never mentions his redundant Klingon physiology.

The design is great. One does wonder. Perhaps maybe in the future, like communicators are now smartphones. :rolleyes:

BTW I think Voyager would have been a much better show if it ignored the reset button. (And I’m not a Voyager hater, I just think it missed an opportunity).

I personally think that’s why I liked Enterprise so much (when I actually got around to watching it). Because they did ignore the reset button for the most part. Things that happened could realistically have an effect on the next episode.

What could be more menacing than mildly homoerotic Kirk?
