This is an odd WWJTK do since the Captain didn’t do a whole lot in this.

Hmmm…I guess Kirk would volunteer to take the symbiont. Cuz, you know. It’s not like he has an important job or anything commanding a starship. The slug would love being Kirk…who wouldn’t and try and stay in his body. Spock would nerve pinch. End of episode.

I can’t beat that. Kirk would definitely take the symbiont. He wouldn’t think anyone else on board was awesome enough.
