No. We live in the north, so, no.
They both have sexy tails.
The disparity between Trill seen on TNG and the later Trill goes beyond makeup. “The Host” seemed to make it clear that the symbiont was dominant (in fact, the symbiont is referred to as a parasite on more than one occasion), and that the host was merely a body with no influence over the joined entity. Odan was apparently unable to safely use the transporter while Dax used it often with no trouble at all. Odan was ready to pick up where he/she and Crusher had left off despite the Trill taboo against reassociation.
Jeri Taylor contributed significantly to the writing of the scene in Ten-Forward where Troi advises Crusher to accept her feelings for Odan.
“What was it I loved?”
Hmmm…he was part-Klingon
I prefered the TOS tricorders. Am I just a fuddy duddy old fart?
“…for Will Riker?”
Ewwww.
Oh. Sorry Deanna.
They sounded and clicked cooler.
Nice to give Jonathan Frakes a shot at trying some acting (not…so sucessfully, but we still luvs ya Rikker)
They seemed “realer” to me too somehow.
Come on, Bev. Make love to the slug. It’s warm, pulsing, and slimy…
I’ve said too much.

Deanna is thinking “Don’t. You. Dare. Frak. My. Man.!!”
I love how they’re going on and on about looking past appearances and being open to love in any form, and then she rejects the girl-on-girl action.
Hypocrite.
Whoops.
sorryBarb.
Rush (the Director) disagreed with claims that Beverly’s rejection of Odan in a female body was homophobic. He stated, "Most of the people that I have talked to thought the show worked pretty well and were entertained. Some commented that they were unhappy with the ending because it was left a question. There was, or could have been, a sort of homosexual aspect to it and we chose not to go that route with it.
Gay relationships in Star Trek…never to be seen until Star Trek New Voyages—Shameful of Star Trek.
I remember just shrugging at the end of this episode. Typical Star Trek “love” affair with the co-star. “Oh, I love you so much.” At least for the next 30 minutes.
Taught me so much about “love” relationships.
Again…I’ve said too much.
LOL!!
