Bem!

Didn’t Michael Jackson sing about this?

Commander Bem?

Nice outfit.

MJ stole that outfit.

“Every planet is dangerous to the ignorant.”

“You can not beam down without adequate protection.”

Um…yeah.

What the craaap! Bem split in half.

I love the transporter beaming into mid-air.

He must be part-Centauri.

The title of this story, BEM, is an old science fiction term meaning “Bug Eyed Monster.”

They always talked about people beaming inside solid objects, but I don’t think we’ve ever seen it. That would have been [strike]awesome[/strike] tragic.

From Memory Alpha:

This was the first episode that revealed Kirk’s middle name, Tiberius. His middle name was mentioned again in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (thus making it “canon”). During TOS, it was not known what his middle initial, “T”, stood for.

Native food gathering…I guess your protection didn’t protect.

I remember reading a book about SETI when I was a kid that called aliens LGM (Little Green Men).

“Switched for phonies…”

Thanx for catching us up, Jim.

Tiberius? That’s the worst!

“How come we always end up like this?”

giggle

Oh no! The Sleestaks!

They’re pretty scrawny lizardmen.

I bet the Gorn beat these guys up after school all the time.

“You may demean yourself, if you wish.”

Alright.

Gorn nerds!
