You’d think that green would be the fashionable lipstick color , because their blood is green.
One of the RPG’s I never got to play (at least to this point). We had one guy who ran one sporadically, but I was always busy.
Hmm…again, I’d be interested to know why.
Ok I may be wrong again but I do not remember them having makeup.
It was great fun. I had four players. All my best friends.
USS Republic had many adventures and I stole ideas from books, etc.
Awwww taking care of the kid. Prolly entirely out of self-interest, though.
I don’t know the answer to that.
felt like they were trying too hard to reinvigorate the franchise. didn’t care for the B4 storyline or its resolution. thot Shinzon kind of lame
It may have been what was going on in my life. It was a difficult time. But I just don’t enjoy the plot. The introduction of the Remans, B4, and Shinzon seems pushed. It has the feel of bad fan fiction. Here is Sam the janitor who saves the ship and Sam the janitor who takes over when the bridge crew get disabled. Sam the savior of all. Yay Sam!
Oh no!!!
I imagine it would be, of course at the time I didn’t know a whole lot about the Trekverse, still don’t.
I miss roleplaying - it has been too long since I got to play.
Life gets in the way of fun sometimes.
Me, I liked that epic things were happening.
And Shnzon being a good villian AND one that’s personally connected to Picard…that worked for me.
Hey, I’m a guy. I don’t notice make up and stuff. And I certainly didn’t when I was a kid
You’d think. Watch out for the plot hole. It’s a doosy! I hate to spoil it but you aint gonna find out why the Viceroy took pity on the human.
Well we will forgive this slip in ST knowledge.
I agree it seems pushed. Whereas, in contrast Khan was literally pulled from a TOS episode.
And the Remans have no basis in anything mentioned in the Trek universe before.
Still, as a movie it worked for me. And since I sensed this was probably to be the last TNG movie, I was willing to put up with some of that stuff.
Ew that’s all kind of wrong. Poor Deanna, as I recall this wasn’t the first time someone got in her head like that.
Poor Riker.
When Troi played a Romulan, she wore reddish lipstick. It wasn’t bright red. Maybe the Romulan is trying to appeal to the human Shinzon.
Ah the classic “Bed Trick”. So common in litterature and fiction.
