Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan 1/20 @ 10 PM ET

Me too.

sniff

You R the coolest.

Everything I know. I learned from watching Star Trek.

“…his was the most…Human” Not all Shatner pauses are bad.
Not all that glitters is not gold…eh nevermind.

That scene always bugged me, though.

Antimatter isn’t radioactive. It’s utterly antithetical to normal matter. Being exposed to it wouldn’t kill you eventually or even quickly, it would obliterate every atom is your body instantaneously. Nothing left but E.

Horner’s score is so well done, here and throughout.

I cry even while listening to it. I swear if I were an actor this is the scene I would call on for crying scenes.

The Family Guy bit is awesome.

Your version of the movie would be very thrilling.

Just one of those internal consistency things that annoy me. If they used some kind of hocus-pocus fantasy energy source, they could set whatever conditions on it that they wanted. But they settled on antimatter, something real with known properties.

And there’s no sound in space, either. :stuck_out_tongue:

Antimatter is the fuel.

Radiation is used for transferring or something. This is a clog fuel line. I could look it up but I’m too busy trying to enjoy a movie.

Frakkin nitpickers!

Good then you wouldn’t be able to hear this.

raspberries

Sitting back and enjoying the soundtrack

Ah

talos, you’re a sick man

Well, yeah. Badger, you’re supposed to suspend disbelief until AFTER the movie is done, not during the climax. :stuck_out_tongue:

dammit, now I’ll never be able to see this again without hearing the Python voice!

Those videos are awesome. I love the Monty Python one.

You could look it up afterward. :stuck_out_tongue:

Frakkin nitpickers!

If they didn’t want us to pick 'em, they shoulda left out the nits.

If there was sound in space, someone would have heard the crew of the Nostromo screaming, and Alien would have been ruined. :frowning:

The Internet (which is a series of pipes and tubes) is something that I just got booted off from for a bit.
I need a new Cable Modem–mine is gotta be 8 years old.

I’ve seen (and heard, actually) John Williams conduct the ST:Next Generation theme a couple of times w/the Boston Symphony. That is frakkin entertainment!!

He didn’t write it, I guess he just likes it.
