Here’s a couple of deleted bits from The Wrath of Khan. The first clip has two scenes that were never included on any of the DVDs. I’m not sure about the second one.
Yeah. That just seems real silly.
In the novels of Star Trek III (and Star Trek II?) Saavik and David Marcus do indeed havea romanitc relationship.
There’s even details like in bed Saavik finding David’s body intriguing becuase human’s have such lower body temperature than Vulcans/Romulan. Oh, and yes, in the books Saavik is indeed half Vulcan half Romulan.
I of course, have rewatched Wrath of Khan more times than any other movie.
So I know each moment by heart.
And, interestingly, there was a cut of the movie they showed on Television that had a number of scenes (or maybe moments not scenes) that were not in the theatrical release version of the movie.
One is when Kirk arrives back on the ship after being marooned on the Regula moon. Elevators aren’t working so Spock and Kirk have to get to the bridge via a ladder thing and during the climb Kirk says to Spock “That young man, he’s my son!” and Spock replies (I think) “Fascinating.”
Anyone know what I’m talking about?
I’m not sure about the second one.
I’m listening to it with my headphones, and I can tell that the scream at the end uses a completely different sound channel then the rest of it. Not saying its fake but… it seems kinda fake.
The voice does not even sound remotely like Ricardo Montalban, I think it is Pike and he is messing with us!
or it’s Frakkintalos…
TAAAAALLLOOOOSSS!!! (shakes fist)
