“We’re helpless! We’re harmless! We just want to sell you things!”
Heads up: I’ll be coming home from a late-ish work even so I may not make it by 7 PST - if someone else is here, start without me, but if no one else is I will start when I get home
And I didn’t make it home last night until well after 8pm PST, so I’ll be watching these later this week… in case anyone is interested in joining in
I loved this ep, though it started seeming like going to Earth was a good way to accidentally go back in time. I remember being surprised the first time they went to Earth and did NOT go back in time.
I kinda wish Worf would have mentioned that in First Contact. “Oh look. I came to Earth and am now going back in time. How novel.”
A bit behind…
Quark with a ship? Baaaaaaaaaaad idea
“fly off into the great unknown, never to return!.. unless you wanted to”
hahaha oh Rom.
Oh so cute, all the Starfleet people sending Nog off.
And Jake and Nog, it’s touching!
this is not the Earth they’re looking for…
“nuclear fission”
ooooh my. Look at Nog’s intelligence on Earth history
hairpins are very useful. almost mcguyver-ish
“if they’ll buy poison, they’ll buy anything”
Quark!!
I like that Quark’s wearing green, especially since the Ferengi aren’t green…
I will always find the pronunciation of “hew-mahn” to be amusing.
Gah I do not like that the Ferengi are taking advantage of her ignorance about Ferengi sexual function
Why, hello Odo!
humans in the past are always portrayed quite negatively in the sci-fi time travel episodes
“We’re helpless! We’re harmless! We just want to sell you things!”
Interesting to see yet again the separation between military/scientists.
“for a primitive female”
c’mon, this family of all Ferengi should know about women’s intelligence.
Odo’s Quark’s hero! LOL!
True, Quark - there is no longer evidence of the smuggling
