It looks like I’ll be out and about tomorrow - shall we postpone these episodes until next week? ahem, Badger?
so postponed - from 2/26 to 3/5
Spooling up the Netflix…
And due to my console being silly… started 5 minutes late. Hard Time, starting now!
From what I recall, this is an excellent episode.
Something I find interesting about this episode is that they don’t fight for O’Brien’s innocence in terms of not having committed espionage - it’s about his experience processing incarceration and abuse.
I also find that part of my objection to the premise is based in the US justice system - where was O’Brien’s right to counsel?!
Sorry I’m late. Internet access was being cantankerous. :eyebrow:
Time check?
10 minutes in
Oh, Molly.
“And he’s always survived.”
So, by that logic, he’s immortal?
always already…
wow this is like S1 Homeland (or rather, Homeland is like this?) re: Keiko in bed, Miles on the floor
Jake’s shirt is really unfortunate
Just got there. Guess I’m a few minutes behind. Close enough.
The interaction between Julian and Miles reminds me (almost painfully) about what it’s like to try to be in the life of a loved one suffering from depression
IIRC, that crewman was the first person to speak Spanish in Trek history.
Oh cool - though I wonder about the translator thing
The translator seems to know when you don’t want it to translate things. Hence, the proliferation of Klingon phrases.
The music here is really effective
