Forgot how bad ass the Defiant was
Welcome! Glad you could join us.
are we surprised? no.
I am not a fan of Dax’s hair in these episodes.
The odds: slim.
I like that it’s the opposite of any other Starfleet ship. No saucer, no nacelle pylons. Form follows function.
Uh oh. Invoking the Grand Nagus
“One day I’m going to be the one making the big decisions”
See the results, face the consequences… in the thick of things (… foreshadowing?)
Given Quark’s barbs about anti-Ferengi bias in “The Jem’Hadar”:
Armin Shimerman hated the scene where Sisko makes Quark kiss the scepter of the Grand Nagus; "Despite the Federation’s lip service to their Prime Directive, which says they’re not supposed to apply their standards to any culture’s attitudes, it seems to me that this was another example of the Federation making fun of, taking advantage of, and ridiculing the Ferengi way. So kissing the scepter was a bit irksome to both the actor and the character.
“This ship just wasn’t designed to handle many casualties…”
It was designed to inflict them!
See, Thot?! Once a Captain, always a Captain
glass cannon, much?
nice wormhole graphic there
Interesting. They certainly changed the scope of the Prime Directive since the TOS days. But we’ve already had that discussion.
All Odo needs is his bucket. Couldn’t he stay in the utility closet?
Or pretty much anywhere on the station?
I’m in the middle of reading a star trek tos comic book series where they cover the Tnterprise testing out the cloaking device that they stole from the Romulans.
No power, but cloaked? Great plan. :eyebrow:
So the Romulans don’t advertise that their cloaking devices have flaws? Seems like a job for the Tal’Shiar.
They really did make Dax’s hair extra puffy
They might as well have used the Bugblatter defense and just turned off the viewscreen.
If you can’t see them, they can’t see you.
I’m sorry? Not following you.
You mean cuz they call him captain on the Definaint? That’s courtesy on an vessel.
Regardless of rank, the commander of ship is called “Captain” while on the ship.
Is that what you mean?
BTW, Michael Eddington was Prince Colwyn in Krull.
The years have not been kind.
