I really like how episodes like this one help make the Cardassians a more complex society than simply the spoon-foreheaded baddies.

oh, Garak. your speeches are fabulous.
I love all the layers of subtexts in this conversations. Two characters who never speak plainly, talking to each other. Genius. 
“I thought you were a man of honor.”
“I’m a Ferengi. You should have known better.”
It’s something I love about DS9. You don’t get that kind of interplay in the other series in the franchise, imo.
Really, does she have a slinky in her hair? bad choice.
Writing was certainly more consistently above-par than in the other series, that’s for sure.

Yeah I regret that I don’t think I could do him justice in FSL last summer. So much potential, but I couldn’t get his doublespeak right
