Told this story before, but I’ll say it again:
I met Majel Barret Roddenberry once at a Star Trek convention in Mancheser New Hampshire.
I told her she was more beautiful in person than on TV.
She said “Of course I am”, but she gave me a nice smile.
And she autographed my “100 ships called Enterprise” book I bough there.
Ah, Lwaxana. You’re just incorrigible. 
She always seemed like such a great person in general. Such a loss. 
Indeed. I think that may be my only real Star Trek “Close encounter” in other words, having an actual exchange of words with Star Trek icon.

Avery Brooks has an odd way about him. Weird actor or weird acting, I’m never quite sure.
