Star Trek: Deep Space Nine 1x01-2 Emissary

Yeah. It is justified.

Yeah I remember that one, but since it was an exchange with Kira the allusion to Bajor made more sense to me.

But even from The Wounded, it’s more about O’Brien coming to terms with having killed a living thing than having racial/species prejudice against the Cardassians. Doesn’t make his intolerance any less abhorrent, though.

Aw and the Promenade was finally getting all fixed up

Sisko and Jakes reunion is nice

Terry Farrell didn’t begin to shoot her scenes until the 11th day of principal photography, by which time most of the cast and crew had gotten to know each other. Initially, she found the whole experience overwhelming, taking up to fifteen takes to get some of the dialog scenes correct, and at one stage she actually hoped she was going to be fired.

I did not know that.

Nice change, at the start they meet aboard the Enterprise, and now Picard comes to meet Sisko in his office on the station.

The scene where Odo assists Doctor Bashir in treating the wounded on the Promenade is a tip of the hat to a scene from the movie MAS*H (1970). Rene Auberjonois’s character, Father John Mulcahy, is asked to assist a military surgeon in the operating room and awkwardly complies.

Why would Quark be interested in Kira? I mean, she’s got such tiny lobes. And she’s wearing clothing! blech

And now I’m just grinning. I haven’t re-watched this episode in 2? years, not since I watched the series straight through. Wow, great stuff.

Of course, with his ability to change forms, he should have able to close any wound from the inside out.

He likes the aggressive type. Remember Grilka.

She’s even worse! She wanted to own property and use money!

When it aired, there was also Babylon 5. What a great time to be a fan. Two wonderful epic sci-fi stories playing out on TV.

He only thinks that way about Ferengi women. Alien women can do as they please.

I still get creeped out by the whole concept of sex outside one’s species. It’s essentially bestiality.

I’m a freak. I have Vulcan, Klingon, Romulan, Betazoid, Orion, etc. fantasies.

C’mon! Be honest. Which one of those races turns you on the most?

Oh, trust me, I find Superman pretty damn hot, but still, there’s that squick factor there.

Of course, in his case, I’m the shaved orangutan, so who am I to judge? :stuck_out_tongue:

Dr. Zaius?

I don’t know. Trek races don’t really do it for me. Of course, that’s probably because the females are hypersexualized, while the males (assuming we ever see any) are practically eunuchs.

If I had to choose, I’d say Orions. Or some of the more obviously humanoid species, like the Edo or Vaal’s people. I guess I like 'em ignorant and enslaved. :stuck_out_tongue:
