Star Trek 1x24 Space Seed

Oh I thot you meant Khan. Maybe he was afraid he’d shoot Spock.

that’s what Chuck’s tweet says

I could never watch the ear bug scene. I would FF’d everytime. Wore out a few copies of the VHS tapes.

I’ll admit that the remastering helps a lot, but these are classics, no question.

Zarek looks to be crucial to this next ep. Kandyse last Friday, and now Hatch. HMMMMM. I hope this isn’t the start of a disturbing trend.
talk to GWC b4 kicking the bucket
That’s more speculation than spoiler. I am unspoiled. BSG speaking.

That’s why there’s a stun setting. In case you shoot your friends.

Cheney could have used that.

You and me both. They are my anti-depressants.

Kirk saved the day again. Me so happy now.

Really? That scene always fascinated me. It’s like a really crappy Babelfish.

A few? Wow. I think I underestimated your voraciousness for all things Trek. My bad.

have you seen remastered Doomsday Machine? makes William Windom’s performance actually believable

Tonight and tomorrow are sort of special (if sad) occasions, but how do we want to frak Trek after BSG? I can’t imagine that we could possibly cover 40 years of Trek between now and then. So how should we do it?

once we get past the stuff that’s readily available online, it’s going to get problematic.

You. Have. No. Idea.

IDK, but I kinda want to watch another ep right now. anyone game?

LOL I actually heard Shat’s voice when I read that. Are you projecting, cylon?

Only in part. The Machine itself is downright glorious, though.

The original, of course, looked like a papier-mâché cone with hand-animated sparks inside it.

Oddly enough.

Maybe if we start from a list of “essential Trek”?

Such as?

I always loved it. No wonder I never got picked for plays in High School. You should see me do Shakespeare. It’s like Captain Hammer getting hurt with a Death ray.

That’s tough. IMO…

TOS: City on the Edge of Forever
TNG: Inner Light
DS9: In the Pale Moonlight
VOY: Timeless
ENT: Similitude

I’d love to, but alas, I have another commitment.
