Love Shatner’s monologue Starfleet recording things. I hear them in my sleep. I used to crack myself up when I was alone exploring the forest near my house while growing up. I would “get lost” there and play Kirk-type monologues.
Earth bisects the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Most of the Romulan and Klingon Empires are in the Beta Quadrant. I wonder if that is the way it was setup in TOS.

Interesting. Never knew that. I’ve only heard them mention the Alpha Quadrant. Gamma was on the other side of the Bajoran wormhole, and Delta was where Voyager ended up, but I don’t recall ever hearing about Beta at all. Neat.
