I remember that. Sneaky and very handy.

For those watching the original the guy who built the shuttlecraft both the small model and full-scale worked on Bladerunner’s full-scale models.

When they lift off, they actually raise the set so the actors aren’t just acting when they are leaning back.
I miss the shadow mattes around the shuttlecraft.
