I don’t know why, but the character of Harry Mudd really resonated for me when I was a kid. He was easily one of my favorite characters of the series. Kind of a proto-Quark or significantly restrained Q.

I find Harry Mudd a little less annoying that Q. I love 'em both. They great but annoying ask the captains of the Enterprise.
