Star Trek 12/1 @ 10 PM ET

The lens flares didn’t bug me until they got on the bridge. Then I was like, “C’mon!! Enuff!!”

Yeah, it’s near the line. I can understand being fine with it.

Just be glad I’m out before Red Matter shows up.

Love how Sulu basically saves their lives here. He’s a hero, not just a groupie in the chorus.

Anton Yelchin is just Vulcan adorable. Like a little Russian puppy. :stuck_out_tongue:

And my Moldovan coworker completely approved of his take on the accent.

Still trying to figure out how red matter has to be in some kind of stasis field, yet it’s okay to stick a big hypodermic needle into it. :frowning:

You know, I’m not sad to see Vulcan destroyed. They have horrible fashion sense.

Oh, the switch-katana. I forgot (repressed) that bit.

Did nobody screen The Naked Time?

Supposed R2-D2 cameo coming up.

So vulcan true! Spock’s mom deserved to die after appearing in that outfit.

but only on blu-ray, I thot?

There was only one huge Trekker on the Production staff. They probably buried that memo.

No, but it’s easier to see. Watch the left of the screen when they look through the viewscreen/window at the debris.

Yeah you need the Hi-Res.

ETA: It’s very slight and quick on the DVD.

See, I wouldn’t have had a problem with the red matter if he needed all of it to collapse the supernova. Since “just a dab’ll do ya”, no matter what you need to convert to a singularity, the big ball o’ density is, in every way, overkill.

[Jubal Early] Does that seem right to you? [/Jubal Early]

Antimatter is kept in magnetic containment, but they somehow manage to extract some when they need it. Consider it science we just can’t understand yet.

OK, about the perfect time for me to Audi.

See all y’all.

Bye Pike

Warp speed.

thanks for hangin’ sir!!
