You know, I didn’t even notice them until I heard people complaining about them. Now I find them mildly distracting, but I can deal.

Chris Pine made this movie for me. Although he is totally not the Kirk I’m looking for. He does his own thing and its great. It works for the whole film.
I love the first half of this film. And yeah, Christopher gets his due here.
The famous line that grabbed us all in the trailer, I reckon. This was a must see after hearing that.
agreed. he’s not “JTK” --but with the alternate timeline scenario he doesn’t have to be.
Bangs head reminds me of Gandalf from Fellowship.

Yeah, the only thing I have to bitch about here is the ‘bones’ explanation that was totally unnecessary.
Bruce Greenwood is so great. His version of Pike, I’d follow through Hell and back.
I totally agree and don’t understand the haters. He nailed the core Kirk but also made him new.
Not really, it gives Kirk a nickname to use.
Romulus = ch’Rihan
and Remus = ch’Havran
And the Romulan people call themselves the Rihannsu
(But all the above is only important to us really hopeless hard core trekkies)
