I’ve only been to Europe once in my life and it was a business trip in the mid 90s.
As part of the trip I took a little free time for myself, and part that was visiting serveral places in England.
I love 18th century wooden sailing warships, so of course one thing I did was make a pilgrimage to Portsmouth, UK to visit the Victory.
Here she is: So beautiful! I’m with ya, Geordi!!
So I’m actually here for once!
After this episode, Paramount received a notice that Arthur Conan Doyle estate still owned a percentage of the rights to the Holmes character and would require a usage fee.
WooT!! A Trek tart! A Trek tart!
Did the GWCNews tweet remind you?
“This is not a computer simulation?”
Dang Geordi!
This is a really fun episode. Spiner steals the show.
Have you got bots working for you?
I could imagine the groans of the production staff when this episode appeared on the dossier. We’ve got to build Holmsian London?!?!
Heheh! I’ve actually gotten to just past this in my rewatch!
Yes and no. I just usually don’t get up in time. But my vacation started at 8 am, so when I got the reminder tweet I hurried right over!
I want to be an android. Imagine having all that information in yo brain.
ETA: Um, a fully functional android.
Sadly, no. I’m still doing it manually, just through the news account.
Geordi, don’t quit your day job.
Oh wait, you eventually become a writer.
Is there a way we can get that done? I wonder.
Merde! YouTube isn’t cooperating for me.
And I love these two episodes.
Earlier today someone brought up the series Voyagers! There was a Sherlock Holmes episode in that series. Well, to be exact, they meet Sir Arthur before he wrote Holmes.
We? No.
You? Maybe.
