Kirk would have helped Maxwell. The two ships would have conquered the entire Cardassian military before Star Fleet even found out about it.
And then he would have bedded an attractive Cardassian woman.

I don’t think Kirk would have let the Cardassians off with a warning. I think Kirk would have sided with Maxwell and started a war or at the very least an “incident”. There would of course have been an argument between Kirk, Spock, and McCoy.

Nice. Can’t beat that Kirk-Spock-McCoy dynamic. Star Trek has never quite lived up to that. (except maybe the Talos-Badger-Thot dynamic — that’s pretty good :o )

This is silly and stupid, but an idea just occured to me.
What if sometime we fraked at Star Trek episode where we type in character of Kirk, Spock and McCoy.
You could be Kirk, me Spock and Badger McCoy.
Yeah, he’d have to be Kirk. But you and me could flipped for Spock and McCoy.
What the hell? Of all the pointy-eared nonsense!
