“Let’s make sure that history never forgets… the name… Enterprise.”

Hmm…there’s something oddly familiar about the plot of this episode…hmm…

what could it be it? Ah, yes, now I remember:  http://forum.galacticwatercooler.com/showpost.php?p=109243&postcount=30

really sad to have to miss tonight’s frak. LOVE these two eps :frowning: enjoy, Tarts!

The script for this episode, written by Trent Christopher Ganino, languished on the shelves of TNG staff writers and only gradually made the rounds to the desks of Melinda Snodgrass, Hans Beimler and eventually Michael Piller.

Following a conversation with Denise Crosby at a convention, Eric Stillwell developed a story that would allow Tasha Yar to return to the series after a two-year absence.

Michael Piller suggested forging the two ideas together to make this amazing episode.

queued up and ready to go!

Ron Moore noted, “We brought Denise back to kill off Tasha Yar a second time. It was a great opportunity to send the character off in a big heroic sacrifice because nobody was really happy with the way she left the series in the first season. Nobody on the show really liked it, the fans didn’t like it, I’m not sure even she really liked it. So ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’ was a chance to kill her right.”

Romulans! muwahahaha!

(sorry I just watched an Enterprise episode yesterday that hinted at the existence of Romulans…)

It’s warrior’s drink time!!

I had a tie the same color as the dress Guinan is wearing. Ah the early 90s.

“You see? It’s an Earth drink. Prune juice.”
“A warrior’s drink!”

Is Guinan suggesting that Worf is constipated?

“Are you saying it is and isn’t there?”

Love technobabble. :stuck_out_tongue:

And then let her come back again anyway when her movie career tanked.

prune juice! I like a few dishes with prunes, but certainly not their juice. I guess I’m not war-like enough

I think it’s the sharp taste more than the after effects she was trying for.

Schrödinger’s Spatial Anomaly?

Both Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin) and Tricia O’Neil (Captain Garrett) were Star Trek fans before appearing in this episode

The transition effect seen as the timeline changed in the beginning of the episode was unscripted and only added in post-production. Originally, the change was accomplished merely by a cut, but it was felt that this was too confusing. However, due to the late nature of the change, the post-production staff neglected to add a corresponding transition effect as the timeline was reset at the end of the episode.

I like the design of the USS Enterprise 1701-C.

“We have to get her back to the Enterprise.”

That doctor has some loose lips. She needs to take some Prime Directive training and seminars.
