It’s Zephram Cochrane!!
Zephram Concrane is prime minister of the planet?
hello hello again
Hive Mind (off to a good start)
This episode was an allegory to U.S. veterans of the Vietnam War, integrating back into American society. Michael Piller remarked, “The whole theme of the show was let’s look at how society treats its returning veterans. I thought from a conceptual level we handled that well, and we came up with good science fiction to make it interesting. There’s some argument that the best soldier ever created bringing the Enterprise to its knees is a little hard to believe, and that might have been the weakness of the show. I enjoyed it, and was not ashamed of the show.”
not gonna lie, the kinda-mustache and the mock turtleneck make me chuckle
Awesome cat and mouse chase of the prisoner in this episode.
And they jump right into it.
Picard “Deluded the Enterprise?” He sounds taken aback.
The maneuver Danar uses to evade the Enterprise, hiding above the planet’s magnetic poles with all ship’s systems powered down, is much the same tactic that Riker employs on the USS Potemkin to confuse an enemy’s sensors in the episode Peak Performance.
So essentially, Rambo First Blood (which I liked)
You’d think that they would have recognized him.
You are such a total fraking geek
He wasn’t drunk so he’s hard to indentify
hehe “within sensOr range”
i’m easy to set off tonight, evidently
The actor playing Roga Danar, played the ill-fated original chief medical officer of the USS Voyager in Star Trek: Voyager’s pilot episode, “Caretaker”.
Don’t shoot him. You’ll only make him angry.
Later you’ll realize this is a special episode just for you.
I’m already thinking Kirk would have kicked this guys ass by now.
Where’s the dive roll and the judo chop in the 24th century? Sheesh!
“The prisoner has no life signs.”
Whut?
This is the first time we see the TNG brig.
