ST:The Next Generation 3X03 The Survivors - 6/8 @ 9PM ET

“I admire gall.”

I love this episode. Of course, we know how Kirk would have handled a god-like alien.

Off we go! Um, off I go…

Distress call!! Shields up!

ETA: Yay! Badger’s here!

Engage! :stuck_out_tongue:

“I should be sensing something.”

Come on! How could you? Never mind.

“At this range, I should be sensing something. I’m not.”

Some Jedi you are.

Love that.

A tiny green square in the middle of utter devastation. Just frakkin’ insane.

“I’m sorry, I can’t be clearer than that.”

It’s all right, Deanna. We’re used to it.

This is my favorite outfit on Deanna. I like her in uniform, also.

I remember rousing games of Rikerball when I was a kid.

I made a comment in the Worst Character of Trek thread about that. Deanna got better when they made her ship’s shrink and captain confidant. This whole feeling thing when you have a super advanced starship doesn’t work.

Riker just got Chewbecca’d

“Can’t you see they’re human?”

You know, except for the android, Klingon, and Betazoid, of course. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, it’s nice. Still, non-regulation. What’s up with that?

Plus the whole crazy music box thing makes no sense.

Wow! I just read on Memory Alpha that the actor playing Kevin Uxbridge (John Anderson) had lost his own wife shortly before this episode. That’s gotta be rough. No wonder the portrayal is so powerful.

“We don’t know what the enemy needed, Doctor. Love? Fear? Hope?”

Whatever happened to alien invaders wanting minerals? Slaves? Food?

I think Deanna has to use the restroom. Must have been the Klingon food they had for lunch.

Wow. Never knew that.

He’s easily one of my favorite characters in Next Gen.

The ship’s shrink is hearing things. Uh-oh.

Both guest stars play characters that are much older than they were in real life at the time of shooting. 67-year-old John Anderson played 85-year-old Kevin Uxbridge and 55-year-old Anne Haney played 82-year-old Rishon Uxbridge.
