St.paul, next summer, Star Wars exibit! Everyone should come! A new holiday inn down the street.
I can’t wait for that! I went out and signed up at the museum’s website so I could get the “advanced” ticket sales. I have already told my husband that we ARE going - no whining, no weaseling, no nothing.

I don’t know - it sounds like tickets are based on the “whenever we [the museum] decide you’re coming, you’re coming” method. I’m not sure we can specify a date. I figured I would wait until after the holidays to dig around on the website more to see when they go on sale and such. I’d also like to get to the Zoo - they do have one in the Cities, don’t they? I seem to remember seeing dolphins in their “old” tank because they were having problems with the new tank when we were there. The only drawback is that if we go that far, we’ll probably end up in Green Bay also to visit my sister-in-law and her family. That makes about a 15 hour car ride to get back home! :eek:
we sure do! The big one is the Minnesota zoo. The very small one is the como zoo.
Some help from one who’s been to the exhibit: they sell tickets for time slots, but not in advance. If you buy tix when you get there, they sell them for the time slow. The idea is that you mill around or go off somewhere else until the appropriate time, then they group you up and let you in together.
I think they’re just trying to control the flow of people going in. Of course, this might just be the way they did it in Fort Worth, TX. So maybe take it with a grain of salt.

Pretty much the same in Chicago, they are selling tickets online and at the museum. You have to pick the day and the time you want to go when ordering online. It’s there until Jan 6th for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
Mactopia - I just got an email from the priority sales group. If you’ve signed up for the “Star Wars Exhibit Priority Ticket Club”, then you can order tickets in March (they didn’t say when in March!). I’d like to try and get a Thursday or Friday slot - I think Saturday and Sunday will be waaayy to busy!

I wonder if it will be set up like all the other ones. after seeing bodyworlds there and seeing pictures of it elsewhere i dont hink it will look like the one on the flickr pool.
St paul is a great place to live. so the convention should be great.
