I’m hoping for Starbuck or Anders or Caprica or Athena…but I think it’ll be Tigh. And I don’t really have a problem with that, either. 
Zarek.
After the failed mutiny, and with suspicions on Zarek, him turning in or offing Gaeta would be a sound political move.
I marked ‘Other’ thinking it may be Zarek as well. Either that or Gaeta will wind up doing himself.

I’m thinking he will accept the responsibility of the eventual failure of the mutiny and kill himself rather than face trial under a human and Cylon alliance. That would be the most honorable thing left for him to do.
Even though many fans of the show see him as a vilain who is only motivated by hatred and shame, I don’t think the writers see him as such. They tend not to paint characters as black or white.
I also say Zerek. He take things too far and show his true colors to Gaeta. Gaeta dies attempting to stop him. Perhaps he does stop things…

Now that you guys mention it, I think it might be Zerek. I think it would be cool to see Gata try and stop Zerek, if Zerek somehow goes to far. In an attempt to fight against Zerek, Zerek shoots Gata.
Or Starbuck shoots Gata…well…watch out for that rash on Hot Dog.
I think you’re on to something. That crafty bastard is not to be trusted. Plus, look at all the successful coups that have then successfully consolidated power. Fidel killed Cienfuegos, Stalin killed Trotsky and many other powerful aides, Mao killed most of his, too.
I don’t think Hoshi has it in him. I think he’ll just be sad, sad, sad.
I voted Starbuck, because I can totally see her leaping out of an air duct in full Marine gear, which she stripped from a dead one, of course. She might even yell “Semper frakking fi, motherfrakker!” as she pulls the trigger. She would aim for the heart, leaving no time for a bloody-lipped apology or curse.
Were I a writer, I’d have Starbuck off him. Her character is perfect to deliver the best, snarky lines appropriate to the oily situation.

I just had this Air Force One moment of Gaeta in the CIC of the Galactica screaming as it plummets into something.
Anders is going to finish the job.
Adama will get to Gaeta first but will want to hold onto the family and work to “get past” the horrible incident. Just as he is about to hug Gaeta and make a speech about reconciliation, there will be a loud “bang” and Geata’s head will explode off his shoulders. Adama will look around and see Starbuck with a smoking weapon and a smile. He’ll growl and look menacing and then do nothing. Starbuck will say something snide. (Cut to next scene)
I don’t quite see Adama doing that…he made it very clear that Gaeta would die without his uniform or dignity. But the Starbuck bit? Spot on!
No one. I’m voting for Gaeta somehow falling into prison/Adama’s hands, and Adama not being sure if he should execute him or not, because somehow something Gaeta did (killed Zarek, maybe) would make executing Gaeta into a martyr. I’m clinging to the slim hope that Gaeta lives.
Or, failing that, comes back as a head!Gaeta for Baltar
