As much as I like James Marsters Brainiac, Chloiac was so freaky evil too. A lot happened in the episode, and while it almost seemed like they were trying to do to much, it was a solid episode.
Even if Davis came out of the chrysalis early, it probably accelerated his progression.
You know, I don’t think we’ve seen Tess in like 3 episodes. Guess she’ll play into the Lex Vader storyline more, but weird that they’ve gone so long without her.

This was almost the definition of a filler episode, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Nice deep breath before going headlong into the Lex arc and the next phase of Doomsday. It was good to see Clark start stretching his investigative muscles, even if it wasn’t for a story. I’m sure you can guess that I wasn’t really a fan of the last scene, but the rest of the episode was pretty good.

EDIT: Reading on KryptonSite just helped me place why the sniper crooked cop looked familiar. It was Lieutenant Kelly (LSO/BaltarBomber) from BSG

Unfortunately these Lana return episodes are not fan favorites. I actually think some of them weren’t that bad. Though I think some of the writing on these episodes conflicted with the rest of the episodes.

I actually only started listening to shoe only after skynext was canned. And being a huge tscc and skynext fan, I love Steve and Derek together. I am so glad Steve came back and did an episode. I had to listen to it on my phone, but I can’t get pass the 35 minute mark. The connection kept dropping. I guess I have toidsten to the whole thing after I get home.

Ooh, nice effect with the kryptonite poisoning spreading up Clark’s face over the course of the kiss.

Not a fan of the Clark/Lana stuff as usual, but I think The Blur and SuperLana made a better team than Clark and Kara ever did. They were actually able to get on the same page as each other. Guess this was the best way to say “Lana’s gone and she’s not coming back.” I wouldn’t be opposed to a cameo from her in the finale or something like that, but no more episodes focused on her.

Every time I think we’re starting to see Tess becoming Season 10’s Replacement Chloe, they do something like this to make us realize that she’s still a lot more like a Luthor. I did like the interaction between her and Clark, though. Aaron Ashmore did an awesome job of acting in this episode, but like I said, I lost a lot of respect for Jimmy in the last part there with him separating from Chloe already.
