I am trying to accept how they are doing this… i enjoyed the episode. I thought it was fun. I loved all the references to kill bill and the classic superman movies…
But I don’t like how they went about with Clark’s refusal to have a better disguise. They had Lois pushing him to get the idea. Why couldn’t he just realize it on his own… I mean Clark has tried on glasses for disguise before. He has seen the future and knew about the glasses as disguise in the future. The whole having his loved one push and prod him along just enforces the image of the big dumb alien, and I don’t want my Superman to be a big dumb alien…
Anyway… I just have to put aside all my preconceptions of Superman… and enjoy the show as it is… enjoy the show as it is… enjoy the show as it is… enjoy the show as it is…

maybe in the Smallville universe the climate change happened sooner, because of the red sun crap Zod was trying to pull, so now there’s a ice passage from the US to UK… or he went the long way through the Arctic to Russia then run down to France and run over the tunnel…
