Smallville 10x07 Ambush

Yes, it was. And Granny Goodness!

Yeah, as Lois’ mom. Almost as big a deal as Linda Hamilton as Chuck’s mom.

Her appearance as Lois’ mother was revealed months ago in press releases. I think they just need the Jimmys to appear to round out the L&C cast.

Oh, and did I see the Fortress? If Kara still has the key, there’s only one way Clark could get there.

He could run. He’s done it before. And he’s much faster than that now.

I still think Wonder Woman as Chloe’s mom was great.

But, getting Margot Kidder and Christopher Reeve to appear was bigger.

Chloe’s mom didn’t look much like Linda Carter when I saw her at the end of that episode.

But agree, Christopher Reeve was huge.

blasphemous, how dare you forget Chloe in Clark’s jersey. XD

was the General ever in Star Trek? Because I keep thinking about Star Trek when ever he opened his mouth…

or just unregistered illegal aliens in general…

man, i miss Chloe…

damn, Lucy can’t get anything right.

tell that to Anakin.

wouldn’t the world go backwards just by Clark running on top of it? kind of like dog on a ball deal?

Seaquest DSV and original V and bunch of other stuff like Total Recall.

I do too. When will we see her again?

Gotta wonder about him an Impulse running in the same direction. d:

Smallville promises exhibitionist sex, delivers a very special Thanksgiving

Oh, Smallville. Remember how you teased us with Darkseid and Lex Luthor’s machinations from beyond the grave earlier this season? Well, that’s all been swept under the rug. Friday’s so-so episode, “Ambush,” gave us a clichéd holiday from hell.

Thanks for the link.

3.) In an attempt to assassinate Sam Lane, Rick Flagg sends a homing missile to the Talon apartments in Smallville. Given that Clark lost his virginity to Lana in the Talon apartments way back when and this episode was about Lois and Clark’s sexual awakening, that’s the most hilariously heavy-handed metaphor for transition this show has ever served up.

My favorite part. It hadn’t occurred to me.

Smallville’s herky-jerky pace and willingness to table plots are to be expected, but we’ve had two semi-disposable episodes punctuated by moments of intense cuteness.

Good to know I’m not the only one concerned with the pacing. But, I wouldn’t have put it in such a way. As Starsaber reminded me, there are 3 major villains (Darkseid, Lex, and Suicide Squad) this season. I, and I imagine the majority of Smallville watchers, care most about Lex’s (specifically whether Rosenbaum will return) storyline.

But, I’m not ready to panic yet. I will trust that the writers have a big and great story for us.

Is that Clark Lana at the Talon thing true? I thought they first did it in Clark’s room.

You know what? I thought the same thing actually. Maybe that’s why that snippet stood out for me…

i guess it was at the Talon then… it was the end for one episode, and the beginning of the very next episode they woke up in Clark’s room…

so… who knows…

And, maybe the swing in between… d:
