Hard to believe that lots of people had those giant satellite dishes in their yards back then. Can’t say I even remember the last time I saw one like that.
Can’t say I ever saw one. We got ours in the mid-90s and it was a small one and that’s the only kind I know. The big one looks like something out of SETI.

For some reason, I always imagined that this movie came out in the mid-80s. It certainly has the feel of that era. Hard to believe that this is just over a decade old.
