So you see the live tab on your skype for mac osx? Or the skypecast? Because I looked all over the place on skype and could only see a conference call not a skypecast or a live bar.
Nah, this is something where you would have to go to Skype’s website. Try http://skypecasts.skype.com/. For Mac folks like us that is the starting point, I think.

I am pretty mac savvy and I am pretty sure with this version you can’t join or even host a skypecast. If you checkout that website you linked and try to join a skypecast or host it it tells you that you need version 3.2 or later and the newest version they have out for mac is 2.7 so you cannot join in without a windows version. Kinda sucky for someone who doesn’t want to partition their drive and doesn’t have a Windows based pc. (I will be fine because I have a PC I can get set up on but I just want to point this issue out for people who wont be) Really sorry if I am getting annoying.

Yeah I looked it up through their help forum and they still haven’t fixed the skypecast for mac osx so you can’t use it until they do. Sorry for all the posts. Just thought I would put that out there though so that people will be prepared if they have a mac.

Plus, it can be moderated better. You can moderate a skypecast but in a conference, what do you have to moderate?
