Yeah I don’t really know what to make of what happens there, I hope it’ll make more sense once Shepherd’s Tale comes out.

I am not sure how this messes with continuity…it appears to fit anywhere in the series or pre-Serenity. What I didn’t like is that it lifted the exact plot from Serenity, a Reaver attack. In fact it almost made a Reaver attack funny, or normal.
The main point probably was the “proper” initiation of River to the crew.
