Holy frak!!! They can be reborn with current cylon tech. Ellen is back (according to preview). But why now and not when she died 18 months ago?
Maybe they’ll explain it during the episode. She looked pissed though, huh?

i just figure it’s a flashback ( the goo part).
It may have taken that long to build a new body. With the other models, they had spares lying around. Not so with the FF. It would also explain why she’s back now, after the destruction of the hub: they started right after she died, which was before it was destroyed.
Or it all happened months ago and we are only seeing it now because

I don’t mind admitting that if Sam is standing in the shower, I will not be able to focus on a word he is saying.
Here’s a wacko idea:
Ellen was resurrected at the end of our time at New Caprica, but not the usual way. For lack of spare “Ellen” bodies, she was routed into a Six blank, which could explain Tigh’s visions (and such) with the Six on Galactica.
Over time, and through the magic of being a FF, she morphs into the Ellen we recognize. But Cavil recognized and intercepted her. He boxed her to insulate the seven from her influence.
Now he needs her and will attempt to manipulate her for his dark plans.
A little far-fetched, but fun.
