Hey Cas!! What’d ya think of Daybreak, Part 1?
We’re off to Earth that was…well at 10:15 as per usual.
I made it. And I’ll be able to to play my special edition DVD. So we are starting at :15 after?

I loved it. But evidently I’m in the vast minority, and there are a lot of highly charged posts around here…

I don’t think you’re in the minority. I loved it also. It’s just the squeaky wheel gets the oil or something like that.
I’ll just say, the part that gets me in the beginning is when the camera first pans away from Serenity and circles around the ship, and then the ship hits atmo. It’s a very poetical moment that always brings a tear to my eye.
I think that happens with finales or anything highly anticipated. It can never live up to expectations or the ones in ones head.
And we are on.

And the change from River’s teacher head to the laboratory still freaks me out!

yes! that is what I was trying to figure out how to say without sounding elitist and unwelcoming
Summer just sells the River character so well. I was so pissed when I saw this since I had written a character very similar to her in another story.
