now i just downloaded a few season 4 episodes in HD a few days ago, but when I looked today to get daybreak pt 1, all of season 4 was only available in standard def, while the other three season were in HD. anyone have any light to shed on this? will season 4 return to HD?
I noticed that myself this morning. Usually I have to click on a separate link the iTunes store to get the standard def version (I’m cheap, and the HD version probably wouldn’t play well on my old computer anyway; it also takes longer to download, and I have to be at work every Saturday morning).
But today, I didn’t have to. Only the SD versions were available. It’s probably another half-witted marketing strategy by SciFi channel who, despite being a network that caters to the most technologically savvy demographic in the world, is techno-ignorant enough to think that if they put their shows on the web instead of TV, they’ll lose money.
