Season 4 DVD questions?

if anyone knows… are there extended or “director’s cut” episodes in the season 4.0 or 4.5 DVD’s or the “big boxed set?” me and the GF are doing a rewatch and are trying to decide weather my DVR’d episodes are good enough.

I think the original episodes are fine to watch DVR’d but I’d buy the DVDs.

The Season 4 set comes with the unrated extended tele-movie ‘Razor’. No extended episodes, just deleted scenes. There is a cool extra called ‘The music of Battlestar Galactica’.

The Season 4.5 has deleted scenes and extended episodes:

‘A Disquiet Follows My Soul’
‘Islanded in a Stream of Stars’

But the best thing on it is the unaired extended version of ‘Daybreak’, the whole thing as it was meant to be.

“A Disquiet Follows My Soul,” “Islanded in a Sea of Stars” (which is incredible in this version) and 'Daybreak" all have extended versions on the season 4.5 set AND the complete series set.

Yes, same as the answers above… plus, with the DVD sets, you get TONS of behind the scenes stuff and also New Interviews with cast and crew members!!! The DVDs are well worth investing in!!! …plus, don’t forget that some episodes have audio commentaries where the actors or directors watch the show and tell you behind the scenes stuff…

another question for you DVD owners…is ‘face of the enemy’ included on the DVDs?

They’re not in my DVD set, which is a shame.

As per wiki:

The series is not included on the Region 1 box set for “Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5” (episodes 12-22) or the “Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series” box sets. Although listed on the distributor’s website for the Region 2 DVD box set of “Battlestar Galactica: The Final Season” (episodes 12-22) the series is absent from the released version.

It would seem, they’re not on any set.

EDIT: BTW, I just found out ‘Face of the Enemy’ will not be on ‘The Plan’ DVD either. CRAAAP!

that’s awful…stupid syfy strikes again…:frowning:

What are the extras in the BSG complete series compared to the separate seasons of DVDs?
