On October 1 GWC will do something unprecedented: They will watch what you tell them to!

For the fourth and final episode of the Classic Sci-fi arc the Hive mind will decide what the Crue watches.

How it works

[li]Starting now Tweet your suggestion with the hashtag #gwcscifi. [/li][li]Submissions close on Sept 20 [/li][li]The top 10 will be selected and put in a forum poll for you to vote on. [/li][li]In one week on September 23 we will have the results.[/li][li]IMPORTANT: If you protect your tweets they will not show up in a search, so please submit your classic sci-fi movie in this thread[/ul][/li]

Quick question, since I am a twitter Newb. I put #gwcscifi in my tweet, but I don’t see it showing up when I click on the #gwcscifi tag. Does anyone else see it, or am I missing something?

Ah, that explains it. Thanks. I was wondering why mine didn’t show up in the search hashtag function either.

Anyway, I suggested a classic…of the '00s (despite being only a few years old, I think it has earned it, and always spark great discussions): Primer.

ETA: But, ooooh, Ghost in the Shell, I like that suggestion.

I nominated Bladerunner and haven’t heard a word here about it! It’s an awesome classic science fiction film, a rich tapestry with great depth.
