Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3

Well, SJA is back. The first story was much better than most stories from last year. Loved the first season, snored through the second. The first story, the Prisoner of the Judoon, was an very light but enjoyable romp, though the humour is more than a bit juvenile. But I guess that is the whole point, as this show is Doctor Who for the kiddies. My son laughed the whole way through it, then watched it again and laughed through it the second time. He is still quoting the Judoon Captain. Judoon as obsessive rule follower is a treat. “You pay, you display!”

There is a lovely upcoming guest star on the show mid season. For those of you who like everything to be completely a surprise, don’'t read further. However, this tidbit is no secret as it is prominently displayed on both the SJA web site and BBC’s own Doctor Who sit. Apparently after Tennant filmed his last scene for the last episode of Doctor Who, he travelled down to the SJA set. It will be interesting to see just how much of Tennant we get to see… Hopefully he will feature prominently.

Is it currently on in the US, and if so who is showing. If you could pass along that info it woudl be greatly appreciated. thanks

My compter has been on the fritz so this is the third time in a week I have tried to answer this question. Cross fingers.

I don’t know about the States, but in Canada I was only able to watch the first season on TV. I You-Tubed the other. Crappy picture, but you can buy the DVD. BBC has been slow in getting it’s popular shows to DVD (SJA season 2 comes out THIS month!) but I think they are getting better. Doctor Who’s two last specials were out very quickly in Plan Jane form.

I think this season of SJA is in Hi-Def so I am looking forward to the DVD’s. They are playing two episodes per week for a fairly short season. I hope this is in order to get the DVD’s out quickly.
