Basically, Amanda Tapping’s character runs a sanctuary for mutants, most of whom would be traditionally classified as supernatural creatures.
Or kills you instantly. Really only one way to find out.
I saw the recap but I still don’t get it. Are these superhumans, using mythical creature DNA?
What was the deal at the beginning? Who was the lady in white on Easter Island?

I’m guessing these Sanctuary people have been around for centuries. People who live that long always dress impeccably.

Most of the “abnormals” are naturally-occurring mutations. The Five were normal humans who took a treatment based on vampire blood and got superhuman powers and de facto immortality.
I missed that part.
