You know, I think I like Athina to much. I just sat there going “Eh well…just another way to get her out of the plot for the net to episodes.” At least she is prepared to suffer some consequences…the whole Hara thing isn’t–wait wait cough cough never mind
I agree, I can see them pushing her off to the side, especially since Helo went bye bye the pres.
I also thought it was interesting the Adama is associating the shooting with the ship jumping away, even though I doubt they are connected.
Adama was major pissed though … haven’t seen him like that since he found out that Starbuck killed Zak…

Adama was quite peeved indeed. But not sure how he made the leap from Athena shooting Six to Basstar. But it did jack up the peace negotiations. Even though Athena was probably right.

Actually, his association of the shooting with the jump made me think that they could be related. I had originally assumed that the distress that the hybrid felt from being unplugged/plugged in was the cause for the jump - but I think she may have also felt the shooting happen. Maybe a combination of things - because they did seem to be happening more or less simultaneously.
Yes, and don’t forget, something had to wake the hybrid up. Is what happened sort of like a dead man’s swicth? If anyone of the cylons get shot, lets wake the hybrdi up. The hybrid was about to jump before it was plugged in, getting shot lets the hybrid do that. Therefore, prehapes, Athina was indirectly to blame for what happened.
The only issue I do have is with Adama. Why does it take the loss of his girlfriend for him to get pissed at someone for killing someone else? This is not the first time someone mrudered someone else. It certainly would be the first time someone actualy got some proper treament fro what they did Then again, maybe Adama just expected more from Athina then he would from Helo, Cheif, Cally Starbuck ect. But, you’d start to think…how would he react differently if Roslin wasn’t on that ship?
And, what will happen once Roslin dies? Because, she will die. Adama can’t shut out the Qorum. he can’t turn this into a police state. He can’t yell at his son just because he is in the Qorum. And wake up Bill, Lee is your greatest asset!
