I just got a five minute segment over and over. Streaming sucks.
Anyhoo, note that Starbuck does all the painful stuff to Gaeta’s leg, and then gives him the morphine. It doesn’t pay to be a bitchy queen.
You know what though? She knew exactly what to do and didn’t frak around…all I could think was man, I’d want her in my foxhole, craziness and all. You can bleed out fast…Still, she shouldn’t have been giggling so much…
respectfully disagree. If anything, I think she did what likely anyone with her military experience would do. In fact, in that moment, she qwas more calm and sure of herself than I’ve seen her in quite a while. And the last five minutes (which you may not have seen) maybe made her eealize she has to start being more responsible with the people under her command.
If nothing else, she proved to me in this 10 minute sneak, she’s anything but Cylon.
What that is…I have no clue.
She was physically ineffective against Sharon too…more evidence she may not be a Cylon in the traditional sense…no superpowers.
Sharon has her in a very nice hold, too. It’d be trivial for her to snap Starbuck’s neck if she had to.
Yeah, I saw that. And Starbuck, to her credit (or extreme stupidity) still gave Sharon a nice elbow…

Anyway, yeah, Sharon had a pretty good hold on Starbuck. Now, this doesn’t really prove that Starbuck is a cylon, because maybe she hasn’t really used that sort of sixth sicne, fi she is a cylon. I think it’d be far more itneresting if she is not a cylon, really.
So,w aht’s up with Sharon just deciding to go? If Starbuck has realized she needs to take some responsibility, I guess Sharon is answering everybody’s questions and is going with Starbuck. Now, when Seelix says “oh yea, let the cylon go,” is she talking about Sharon, Starbuck or Leabon? lol

I felt better about Starbuck in this snippet than I have all season so far; it finally feels like the Starbuck who was a flight instructor who really cared about her people is still in there somewhere, even if it gets drown out by the crazy until she sees somebody else going crazy on her account.
I predicted Starbuck, Leoben, and Anders would take a Raptor out, but Athena’s a bit of a surprise. I hope at some point she gets a chance to explain her change of heart, going from supporting mutiny to driving the school bus full of nutters out to the basestar.
As for the wound, wow, that was disgusting. Was Starbuck rearranging frayed tendons or something? Poor Gaeta. I enjoy Gaeta’s snarkiness, so I hope he’s okay.
Who did the “Previously” voice-over this time? Was it Roslin?
