S4.E03 ET/CT Frak Party

How did I miss this!? Rats! Missed you by 1/2 an hour. :frowning:

Hope to catch it next week.

Too cool.

Cool! I added to my list of Talk Shoe Shows! I will put a reminder on my calander to remember next week.

You can also downloade dPrevious Episodes!

I love the number on the weapons locker door : 1701D lol, i’m sure you guys already discussed it, but i am just watching it now on hulu.

that’s sweet, I hadn’t noticed that before…

I’m still making myt way thru the frak party comments, so please pardon if any of this material is redundant from earlier/lter posts…

[Holding back sniffles] Well, are you happy now? Are you? (kidding) … Sorry, I shouldn’t lash out like that. You didn’t kill her. Tory did.

I’m not sniffling 'cuz it’s sad… it’s allergy season.

Yeah, very good point. I’m a total spoilerphobe, but I let my BSG jones get the best of me this time. That was pretty crappy.

I see I’m not alone: Feels like the episodes keep getting shorter and shorter.

Really, really disturbing episode. I’m still processing it. Like, I can’t even get past the late-episode Cally/Torry stuff to even begin to think about the earlier Torry/Chief/Little Nicky stuff, not to mention the Cylon plot, and the other stuff.

And I’m sure someone else mentioned this, but what’s red shirt’s name on the Starbuck Poo Ship? That poor guy. Ensign Doomed.

I’m late to the party, but a few quick thoughts:

-Poor Cally! It’s strange, but I feel a lot sorrier for characters when they admit out loud that some of the weird decisions they’ve made were a little crazy. I felt so much worse for Cally after the scene with Doc Cottle when you know that she realizes that her romantic relationship with Tyrol might not have been built on very solid ground.

-I still love Doc Cottle.

-Even though I don’t like the President and the Admiral sometimes, I do love Laura and Bill. This ongoing exchange of books throughout the series is just so sweet, and it’s a great way for people who aren’t very good at talking about emotions to still communicate with each other.

-Cavil and Boomer–I called it, but ewwwww!

-Cavil’s plan to off the Sixes, Twos, and Eights is kind of risky, isn’t it? There’s no resurrection ship for the 2/6/8 faction to download to, but that means there’s also nowhere for the Ones, Fours, and Fives on the basestars to download to should the new Six find a way to blow them to bits, either.

-I think I read the Quorum scene differently, but I’m not sure. I thought Zarek wanted Lee to nail the President on the Demetrius and used the executive order as proof that Roslin was out of control and needed someone to challenge her. Lee, not wanting to be Zarek or Roslin’s lapdog this early in the game, tried to diplomatically show Roslin that bygones were bygones, no hard feelings, by giving what he thought was a response to the Demetrius question that gave just enough away to keep the Quorum from getting riled up but not so much as to cause more problems. Zarek gave Lee funny looks because he was unhappy that Lee hadn’t gone after Roslin. Then Roslin gave Lee a pretty snippy response, which Lee wasn’t expecting; he thought he was helping her, but her retort made him realize just how controlling she’s becoming. Then he smiles to himself and decides to go after her on the judiciary system executive order, Roslin backpedals frantically, and Zarek pretends not to be pleased that Lee stood up to her. In this way, Lee proves to both Zarek and Roslin that he’s no pushover. Any thoughts?

-Speaking of the Quorum, wow, obviously they learned parliamentary procedure from Taiwan’s Parliament? (No offense to Taiwan–just referring to how there have been a few fist fights on the parliament floor in the past few years). Did you hear what the Quorum delegates were saying to one another? “You can kiss my ass”? Jeez…

-Tory is SCARY. 'nuff said.
