i took some time to decide where to post this; so here goes -
I was watching HBO Signature (tis’ a family channel) and came across this show :
What piqued my interest and got me really excited was the premise of the show :
A drama set on a distant planet, where two families related by marriage are on opposite sides of a Revolutionary War-like conflict. - Source :IMDB
truth be told this thread may as well be in the the Caprica thread.
Then what got me jumping up and down was the the fact that it’s directed by Michael Rymer!!!
Allow me to get into writer mode : this show postulates what would have happened (and all the human drama involved) if the Colonies of Kobol did manage to settle on New Caprica, ad infinitum, without the Cylons showing up… Except that it’s set on another distant planet, and the home world is our Erf.
I can just imagine Michael Rymer was getting his creative juices out on this story because the New Caprica arc turned the other way in Season 3 
People - get your hands on this tv movie and watch it (somehow)
