Review: Death Star

I just finished Death Star by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry. The story was good, and it filled in a lot of interesting background info to New Hope. The characters were so-so. Though, I wouldn’t mind seeing more of them.

But it was interesting to see things from the Empire’s view.

I saw this on the bookstore shelves when I was buying Invincible. It looked interesting (I like the cover art) but I could never bring myself to buy it. Maybe now that it’s paperback I’ll get it.

i had loaned this from the library a few weeks ago, but was more engrossed in Arthur C. Clarke & Stephen Baxter’s “Time Odyssey” trilogy, so i had to return it, but what i read i liked (first chapter or two), and have been thinking about buying it for myself. i always love the EU books and such that take place at or around the time of the movies, allowing us to see what was going on for other people in the galaxy while Luke, Han, and Leia were saving the day.

I haven’t picked this book up yet. Quick question… Do they deal with the Deathstar plans getting into Rebel hands. I don’t want any major spoilers though.

Not really.
