Representations of homosexuality in Star Trek

After another knife in my gut review of one of the more beloved DS9 episodes by the DS9 podcast, The Gamma Quadrant, an explosion of discussion took place on their libsync site (… a lot of them generated by me… sorry), A listener, Will, wrote an excellent overview of the history of homosexuality representations in all of Star Trek, from TOS to ENT.

I thought it was well written. Enven though I don’t totally agree with all his views, but it was very well written and very thorough overview of a very sensitive issue.

That was an entertaining and interesting write-up. Thanks for the link.

What I miss about Trek is it’s ability to tell us, even with the most alien of aliens, how HUMANITY works.

Well done.

The comments section for the Gamma Quadrant episode.

Article leaves out a mention of Star Trek Phase II (which is understandable— not a lot of people have heard of it.).
