In this exclusive clip from from the Caprica season one DVD box set, show creator Ronald D. Moore explains why he gave the show’s proto-Cylon human form half of the time, and why it looked so ominous.
Just to clarify…this video only has RDM explaining why they interchangd the actress with the CGI clyon in the filming. This does not explain anything about the plot of the story as to why the first Cylon was a teenage girl. 
Yeah. “Alessandra is pre-viz” wasn’t exacT-ly revealing. Now even articles about the show are obscure.
