Total Recall NOT going to Mars??? Or space? AT ALL???

The new story ditches the Martian storyline and instead involves nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai, with Douglas Quaid (Farrell) a factory worker in the latter who begins to believe he is a spy, although he doesn’t know for which side.

Been there. Done that. Way back in Sept 6, 1994 Judgment Day was predicted. When it passed, said it was a mathematical error. Didn’t factor in the sanity coefficient.

Florida’s Bestiality Law May Have Accidentally Outlawed Sex Entirely

"Click here for a handy visual provided by Southern Fried Science that elucidates the fact that human beings are smack dab in the middle of the animal kingdom – by which he means the “group of multicellular, eukaryotic organisms of the kingdom Animalia” and not the horse that won the 2011 Kentucky Derby (being “smack dab in the middle” of a thoroughbred horse is a situation the law originally intended to prevent).

Andrew ends with a quip:

So if you’re living in Florida on October 1, 2011 and would like to have sexual intercourse with a consenting adult, please check with your veterinarian or local livestock breeder first to make sure you abide by "accepted animal husbandry practices, conformation judging practices, or accepted veterinary medical practices.” "

I wonder how much ‘apparatus rentals’ would be

Looks like Chuck may be renewed for Season 5

But The Event won’t and V is on life support

http://www.deadline.com/2011/05/primetime-pilot-panic-chuk-to-return-and-other-bubble-show-updates/

And Wonder Woman may never see the light of day

Sources say a renewal for the David E. Kelley midseason drama “Harry’s Law” is likely, but it’s not looking so good for Kelley’s take on the “Wonder Woman” remake starring “Friday Night Lights” alum Adrianne Palicki.

And under the category of “why???” they’re making another Amityville Horror…in 3D

There’s going to be a Medical Tricorder X-Prize. The goal is to have a diagnostic tool that can perform better than a panel of doctors.

Can’t say I’m surprised about The Event or V. I was surprised V had a second season when Flash Forward didn’t.

Seems like a great use of prize-linked innovation. Cool.

NBC is not necessarily done with their pickups. Process of elimination illustrates there is not enough room remaining on NBC’s fall schedule for Wonder Woman and 17th Precinct. You’ll get Grimm and Awake instead.

We may or may not ever get to see those pilots. NBC may punt the show elsewhere within the NBCU empire aka Syfy. NBC commissioned the pilot but Sony retains its supplier rights. There’s a very small possibility Sony may shop it around at the other networks as a mid-season series.

That enormous glop of fantasy genre pilots across all four networks is now smashed in pieces on the rocky shoals of network management and focus testing grrrrr. Maybe they all sucked.

I didn’t notice until now but the creator of Awake (REM) just had his previous show Lone Star yanked off the air at FOX after six episodes. Heard it was good but nobody watched.

Guess I’ll catch up on Japanese horror films this 2011-12!

Looks like Wonder Woman will NOT be picked up by NBC …personally, I think it was the pants that killed it - DAMN YOU PANTS!!!
