“Titanic” will sail into theaters again.
The James Cameron blockbuster will likely be re-released in April 2012, which would coincide with the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking, according to an individual with knowledge of the plans.
There’s a catch. In light of Cameron’s other billion-dollar blockbuster “Avatar,” the director will re-release his 1997 romance in 3D.

If he wants to tweak one of his older classics and get a little green for it, why not Aliens? I would much rather see Aliens jumping out of the screen at me than a tired old romance flick on a sinking ship.
